A domain suggestion is useful only when its availability signal is clear. Here is how aidomains.app turns an idea into a checked shortlist—and where every availability check still has limits.

Create several naming directions
Your description and selected domain endings are used to generate a varied candidate pool. The service normalizes labels, removes duplicates and invalid domain forms, and avoids names already checked on earlier result pages.
Generation is brainstorming, not evidence of availability. Every candidate must pass a separate status check before it can appear in the buyable shortlist.
02 / Check
Ask for precise registry-level status
aidomains.app checks candidates individually through the Fastly Domain Research API using its precise status scope. Fastly documents this as a registry-level availability check for new registrations—not a simple DNS lookup.
- Available: the returned status includes
inactive, which Fastly defines as available for a new registration. - Premium: the registry or an aftermarket source reports premium or explicitly marketed inventory. Premium results are shown only when you opt in.
- Unavailable: the name is active, parked, claimed, reserved, disallowed, or otherwise not available for a standard new registration.
- Unknown: the provider cannot determine an authoritative status. Unknown and failed checks are never presented as available.

Rank only viable candidates
Candidates that survive the availability filter are ranked for clarity, memorability, relevance to the product description, and overall naming quality. If the final AI ranking is unavailable, deterministic quality signals provide a fallback rather than discarding checked results.
